The African Queen

Synopsis: "THE AFRICAN QUEEN" is a 1951 adventure film directed by John Huston, based on C.S. Forester's same-name novel. Shot in Technicolor, the movie stars Katharine Hepburn as missionary Rose Sayer as well as Humphrey Bogart playing a steamship captain. Other important actors were Robert Marley, Peter Bull, Walter Gatell, Richard Marner and Theodore Bike. Bogart won the Academy Award for Best Actor, his only Oscar, and the film has been selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
